ARC Aerial Imaging provides a professional and flexible aerial imaging service by utilising robust sub-7kg, GPS enabled, multirotor Remotely-Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) technology coupled with high resoultion stills and UHD (4K) video sensors.

With its "Permission for Aerial Work" (PFAW) awarded by the UK Civil Aviation Authority firmly in place since January 2015, ARC Aerial Imaging extensively covers the north of England, encompassing the Scottish Borders, Northumbria, Cumbria, County Durham, Teesside and North Yorkshire.  Not solely restricted to the north, we can also be commissioned to undertake aerial imaging tasks within other parts of the UK.

ARC Aerial Imaging complies with all UK CAA legislation in regard to the commercial and safe use of Small Unmanned Aerial Systems which includes:

  • Qualified UAV Pilot/Operator from a CAA certified NQE Training Provider (Resource UAS - RPQ-s)
  • UK CAA "Permission for Aerial Work" (PFAW)
  • £5M Public Liability Insurance from a Specialist UAV Insurer (John Heath/Coverdrone)
  • CAA approved Company Operations Manual including, where appropriate, preparation of Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS) documentation
  • Company Health & Safety Policies and UAV/Site/Personnel Operating Procedures
  • ECITB CCNSG Site Safety Passport*

*ECITB CCNSG Site Safety Passport certification is aimed with an underpinning knowledge of Health & Safety to enable contractors and specialist service providers to work on a site more safely with lower risk to themselves and others whilst meeting statutory requirements of the Health & Safety Executive.
