ARC Aerial Imaging – ‘COVID-19 secure in 2022’.
As soon as the first national lock down began in March 2020 and with subsequent restrictions of movement in place, many other drone-operating businesses and individual operators have had to probably suspend or completely stop providing their services as an immediate reaction. In many cases this may have been the result of their clients likely suspending their business operations whilst coming to terms with the suspended business environment.
Carrying on but with a slight difference…
But ARC Aerial Imaging’s response has been different! With over two decades of practical experience dealing in ‘crisis management’ it’s an entity that is familiar on how to immediately adapt itself around ever-changing circumstances by way-pointing its services with safe, feasible and practical solutions in order to uninterruptedly carry on with its clients tasks. Its commercial operations are still being undertaken, both legally and safely, and which has always been managed from a home-based office.
With this understanding we are able to carry on ‘as normal’ because our work and commercial applications with drones tends to be socially isolated already - we typically work on remote sites and within benign environments.
Adjusting our ‘modus operandi’.
Our normal ‘modus operandi’ has been adjusted which are now based around required social distancing and hygiene standards with additional PPE (face masks, gloves etc) being utilised on top or our standard and site-specific PPE requirements (safety helmet, high-visibility clothing, boots etc) and we have included these approaches into our risk assessments. Furthermore our face-to-face meetings, consulting and training with clients have always had a video conferencing facility in place should clients require it and if operating in various parts of the UK and which serves as a convenient task management solution to our clients - this has also been applied more so during these times.
Other aspects always require careful thought and cooperation with our clients so that we can continue to provide our professional services safely and our risk assessments covers various aspects of the services that we provide which will continue to be monitored, revised and amended in line with changing guidance.
